April Offshore Trip- Perfect weather
Offshore Fishing trip 21st April, 2007- What a day. It was a perfect day on the water after all the shittie weather we have had of late. We headed out from Moolalabah out to our favourite spot. At the boat ramp a bloke looking quite weary said that he had been at the 12 mile and bagged out on snapper. We thought we might try that area later on in the day. It was a toss up on whether to go to Barwon Banks or our favourite spot. The favourite won. I have never seen so many boats out on one day. On the way we stopped and fished a couple of reefy areas we stumbled across. They produced a couple of only, average sized wrass and tuskfish. We wanted a little bigger than that so off we went on to our magic spot. Finally we got there and as usual it didn't let us down. We started our drift and the fish were on. Lots of double hookups which made it considerably heavier to pull up our catches Our catch in the end consisted of wrasse good size, a beautiful cod that hubby caught, and pearly&
